  "content": "<p>Hi everyone, </p>\n<p>I don't want to blame anyone without concrete evidence but this team and members of it seem a bit unusual/suspicious to me. The first 3 accounts opened exactly 9 years ago (please check out the naming similarities as well) and the last account is just 6 days ago. </p>\n<p><a href=\"https://www.kaggle.com/auaacmee\" target=\"_blank\">@auaacmee</a> <a href=\"https://www.kaggle.com/buaacmee\" target=\"_blank\">@buaacmee</a> <a href=\"https://www.kaggle.com/duaaabcd\" target=\"_blank\">@duaaabcd</a> <a href=\"https://www.kaggle.com/wisewhoyh\" target=\"_blank\">@wisewhoyh</a> <a href=\"https://www.kaggle.com/zbb1997\" target=\"_blank\">@zbb1997</a> </p>\n<p>As of now, they are in 37th place on the leaderboard with a team name: ZBB||YH</p>\n<p>I am wondering your thoughts…</p>",

With standart-generated type of names, with small to zero number of submits, hell with it some just openly admits to have multiple accs. That tells how much kaggle cares about what is going on. Is there a list of what platform did to prevent this? It's surely a hard thing to solve completely, but is/was there attempts by kaggle that we can observe (not some unspeakable secret backend stuff) ?</p>",

      "content": "<p>In a previous competition I joined, a couple of accounts related to some Chinese Kaggle medal selling business were banned (not sure if they managed to catch them all). If we can bring this to the attention of Kaggle's staffs, I'm sure they'll handle it</p>",

For instance, it's quite prevalent in video games with ranking system where people buy accounts at much high rank than their skill is. How would you propose such verification system? Dota2 uses phone verification but people can just buy a burner phone. As long as the cost of getting around the verification is lower than the price they can sell the account for, the problem will remains. You also can't price honest people out of the system either. Profile picture does not work since they can just get a random picture on the internet and imo very invasive if enforced properly. You also have to consider the risk of false positive.</p>",
