  "content": "<p>Dear participants,</p>\n\n<p>As you will know, the <em>Freesound General-Purpose Audio Tagging Challenge</em> is framed under the fourth edition of the <a href=\"http://dcase.community/challenge2018/\">Detection and Classification of Acoustic Scenes and Events (DCASE) Challenge</a> (see <a href=\"https://www.kaggle.com/c/freesound-audio-tagging#DCASE\">https://www.kaggle.com/c/freesound-audio-tagging#DCASE</a> for a short overview about DCASE and our competition). In fact, this competition corresponds to <em>Task 2</em> of DCASE. This is a message for those interested in testing their skills in other DCASE Challenge tasks:</p>\n\n<p>The DCASE 2018 Task 1 - Acoustic Scene Classification has opened Kaggle \nin-class competitions. The aim of these Kaggle competitions is to allow \nchallenge participants test their system with unseen data, and to \ncompete against each other in public leaderboard during the development \nphase of the challenge.
