The <a href=\"https://freesound.org/\">Freesound</a> team from <a href=\"https://www.upf.edu/web/mtg\">MTG-UPF</a> and the <a href=\"https://research.google.com/teams/perception/\">Google Machine Perception</a> team are excited to bring you this competition, where you are challenged to build models that can recognize 41 diverse categories of everyday sounds.</p>\n\n<p>This competition is a part of the <a href=\"http://dcase.community/challenge2018/\">DCASE2018 Challenge</a>, an academic competition featuring five tasks related to the computational analysis of sound events and scenes. Results of the DCASE Challenge will be presented and discussed at the <a href=\"http://dcase.community/workshop2018/index\">DCASE2018 Workshop</a>. We encourage you to submit a paper to the DCASE Workshop describing your system for this competition. There's so many features that we can potentially test. Those of us (including me), who have limited and unevenly distributed chunks of free time can not use that time efficiently. It's just slowing down research.<br>\nThanks!</p>",

That way people who have more time over weekends can use that time better. </p>\n\n<p>Also it would be interesting for kaggle team to do analysis for submissions. The above request is based on my assumption that different people have different days during which they are able to submit more rather than some hours where they are able to submit more.</p>",
