"content": "<p>You mean to submit to DCASE Challenge and not to Kaggle? What is the motivation to do so if you've already participated in the competition (your team has 65 submissions, if I'm correct)?</p>\n\n<p>We definitely encourage people to submit to DCASE Challenge and Workshop. That being said, <strong>submitting to Kaggle is also a must since the system evaluation and ranking is provided through Kaggle</strong>, and it is a way to check that the submissions comply with the compute limits established in:\n<a href=\"https://www.kaggle.com/c/freesound-audio-tagging-2019/overview/kernels-requirements\">https://www.kaggle.com/c/freesound-audio-tagging-2019/overview/kernels-requirements</a>. Also, submitting through a Kaggle Kernel is easy.</p>\n\n<p>More info about submission modes:\n<a href=\"https://www.kaggle.com/c/freesound-audio-tagging-2019/overview/submission-modes\">https://www.kaggle.com/c/freesound-audio-tagging-2019/overview/submission-modes</a></p>",

Hence, participants of this competition have also the option to submit your systems to the DCASE challenge. The way in which **Submission Modes** work is explained here: https://www.kaggle.com/c/freesound-audio-tagging-2019/overview/submission-modes\n\nPlease use this thread to place any questions you might have about submission modes.",

I just wanted to be sure how it works for the evaluation on the private test set, in particular:\n\ndo we need to do something particular to accommodate the fact that you will change the test set from the public one to the private one? Or it will be ok just to make our kernel read from the \"test\" folder in the competition dataset because you will simply replace the public one with the private one?",
