  "content": "<p>Welcome to <strong>Freesound Audio Tagging 2019</strong>!   </p>\n\n<p>We are <a href=\"http://www.eduardofonseca.net/\">Eduardo</a> and <a href=\"https://ffont.github.io/\">Frederic</a> from the <a href=\"https://freesound.org/\">Freesound</a> team at <a href=\"https://www.upf.edu/web/mtg\">MTG-UPF</a>, and <a href=\"https://ai.google/research/people/author8115\">Manoj</a> and <a href=\"https://ai.google/research/people/DanEllis\">Dan</a> from the <a href=\"https://research.google.com/audioset////////about.html\">Sound Understanding</a> team at <a href=\"https://ai.google/\">Google AI</a>, and we are excited to bring you this competition!</p>\n\n<p>This is a follow-up of last year's <a href=\"https://www.kaggle.com/c/freesound-audio-tagging/\">Freesound General-Purpose Audio Tagging Challenge</a>.</p>\n\n<p>This time we are taking the challenge to the next level with multi-label audio tagging, twice the number of audio categories, and a <em>noisier-than-ever</em> training set. You are challenged to build models that can recognize 80 diverse categories of everyday sounds using a train set composed mainly of noisy labels.</p>\n\n<p>This competition is part of the <a href=\"http://dcase.community/challenge2019/index\">DCASE 2019 Challenge</a>, an academic competition featuring five tasks related to the computational analysis of sound events and scenes (we are <a href=\"http://dcase.community/challenge2019/task-audio-tagging\">Task 2</a>). Results of the DCASE Challenge will be presented and discussed at the <a href=\"http://dcase.community/workshop2019/index\">DCASE 2019 Workshop</a>. We encourage you to submit a paper to the DCASE Workshop describing your system for this competition.
