  "content": "<p>Hi,</p>\n<p>Someone could tell me the origin of the cost model and fuel consumption adopted in the simulator? Is there any bibliographic reference or the model was developed internally by GE? I know that for this competition, the important thing is not the model itself, but choosing appropriate parameters that minimize the costs of flights.       "content": "<p>The model is supposedly that of a medium sized airplane (B737 or B757 maybe?) with additional parameters that allow some variation among flights in the way the aircraft behaves and/or performs.</p>\n<p>Since the simulator is quite basic as far as flight dynamics are concerned, I wasn't able to apply any kind of technical documentation to the implementation of my solution, though.</p>",
