"content": "
There are two flights in the test data that are reminiscent of the Kobayshi Maru test (no win situation)
\n
The two flights drop the Agent out the sky just a few short miles from the airport, well past the 75 mile ATC fence, and at great altitudes. Landing within the allotted airspace is impossible (minimum airspeed, altitude, max rate of descent, all end up miles beyond the airport). The solution would be to take command and turn them around in a lazy circle and then come back. But this is the heart of ATC controlled airspace
\n
My observation is that these two fights are out of place in this competition. (of course, I could be wrong... just ask my wife)
\n
The flights are:
\n
302926721 27,000ft, at 175knts, 5 nautical miles from the airport
\n
303249647     23,000ft, at 121knts, 1.6 nautical miles out.
\n
(121 knts is below the stall speed of airliners in this competition that carry 100-130 souls)
\n
Thoughts?
",
