  "content": "<p>Hi admins,</p>\n<p>Is it possible to get weather files for Sept 10th and July 4th with only 1 hour weather data, in the same format as we already got for the LB (and will get for the validation)?       "content": "<p>Couldn't you just extract the first snapshot with</p>\n<p><code>&nbsp;head -13534 weather_20130910_1803.txt &gt; output.txt<br></code></p>\n<p>and then change ElementCount from 8 to 1 in the first line of output.txt?</p>",

I open the .gz files from python and modify them..this works OK.</p>\n<p>But if I create a .gz file from python from the 10sept weather this doesn't seem to work. (The file behaves different when copied) Probably a bug in my software or maybe some difference in the zip. </p>\n<p>But since admins should have some routine or procedure to create the .gz weather files (with one hour data) I hoped they could do this for me (and others).</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>",

      "content": "<p>If it is due to the simulator not liking your zip format, you can hack it to read unzipped files.</p>\n<p>Replace the following lines in loadWeatherFromStream:</p>\n<p>use compressedStream = new System.IO.Compression.GZipStream(stream, System.IO.Compression.CompressionMode.Decompress);&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n<p>let reader = new StreamReader(compressedStream)</p>\n<p>with this:</p>\n<p>let reader = new StreamReader(stream)</p>\n<p>Now the simulator can read weather files in text format.</p>",
