"content": "
I wonder if anyone has managed to download RAP data using the torrent file posted at the bottom of http://www.gequest.com/wiki/FlightQuest2
\n
I tried to a few days ago, using Tixati (because when I look at http://soostrc.comet.ucar.edu/data/grib/rap/ I get no data before June 20 or September 29, depending on which server I end up on, and I wanted to use the milestone training data).
\n
I set it up to grab every 0th hour file in the set, it dutifully downloaded stuff for a couple of days (I think) and reported no errors. But when I tried to parse the files, they all turned out to be corrupted and unreadable.
\n
Before I give it another go, it would be good to know that it's meaningful to do so (as in, "yes, I downloaded those files, worked fine for me").
",
