I'm trying to find the files described in the "Get Data" section, i.e. airports.csv, but I have no idea where that file is. Can someone please point me to the files that aren't listed in the table at the top of that page?

Hi Admin,  What has happened to the data page?  On Oct 15 there were the following (amongst others):

- testFlightsRev3.csv

\n

- sampleSubmissionRev2.csv

\n

- FlightQuest Simulator-Rev4.zip

\n

testFlightsRev3 is referred to under 'basic structure of fq2/Getting Started' but I can't find it anywhere now.  What has happened (or am I very confused)?  Where is it?

Also, on the data page, in the Guide to Files, the last bullet point:

-test1_flighthistory_rev1: revised version of file flighthistory.csv. See this forum thread for an explanation of the revision.

Sorry for the confusion. Those files were for the Milestone phase of FQ2. We are now in the main phase of the comp, which has a new Flight Simulator and a new set of data. The Data now page has the files for current use. The Basic Structure phase was created at the start of the Milestone phase so now it references an out of date file. (We can fix this)

Thanks joycenv.  I have the current files but it was the out-of-date descriptions that confused me.  It is a complex problem so anything you can do to make the description accurate would be helpful.

I'm just trying to run the simulator example with "Sept10-SimulatorFiles". But the simulatior is asking for a routes file ("Enter csv routes file name from %mypath%"). As it is an example I thought it have all files in the Zip file... Do I need to generate that routes.csv file to run the simulator example? Or am I missing something?

It sounds like you have the simulator working. Yes, now you need to generate a routes file with paths for the flights.
