  "content": "<p>The rules state the following:</p>\r\n<p><strong><em>Use of Other Data.</em></strong><em> Entrants must not use data other than the Data to develop and test</em><br>\r\n<em>their algorithms and Entries. GE reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any</em><br>\r\n<em>Entrant who GE discovers has undertaken or attempted to undertake the use of data other</em><br>\r\n<em>than the Data, or who uses the Data other than as permitted according to the Schedule and</em><br>\r\n<em>associated data use rules specified on the Website, in the course of the Competition.</em><br>\r\n<em>Privately sharing Data or code outside of Teams is not permitted, unless it is made</em><br>\r\n<em>available to all players, such as on the forums.</em></p>\r\n<p>So I'm assuming data like aircraft characteristics would be considered &quot;other data&quot;?\r\n</p>\r\n<p>For example, the flight history file has a &quot;Scheduled Aircraft Type&quot;.&nbsp; I'm would asumme from the rules then that any algorithm that then tries to use this field to look up aircraft limitations (e.g. such as maximum speed, flight envelope) would be strictly\r\n prohibited?&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p>Considering all the information available this may be down in the weeds but I was wondering if you could clarify &quot;other data&quot;.&nbsp; The phrase &quot;entrants must not use data other than ..&quot; seems very broad. &nbsp;</p>",
