  "content": "<p>hey Wendy,</p>\n\n<p>I would tweet this but I reckon you wouldn't read it ;)</p>\n\n<p>May I ask that Kaggle <em>greatly strengthen and expand its kernel library capability</em>?</p>\n\n<p>I think that with the GIS stuff required for this competition, having gdal/ogr+rasterio+maybe fiona(some folks like that lib) installed on the kernel engine would give the kernels a bit of a bump in productivity.  As of now, they are mostly data exploring and some viz.  I'll wager that if you put the suggested libs up, the kernels will move to more data processing.</p>\n\n<p>conda install gdal, pip install rasterio for those at home.</p>\n\n<p><em>Make kernels great again</em> </p>\n\n<p>thanks!</p>",
