"3267620": "After reading this post, Kaggle Community competitions have been a truly disappointing experience for me.\n\nI recently won a $3K Kaglle community competition, but the host kept delaying payment and still hasn’t transferred the prize money, even though it’s been three months since the competition ended. This has made me lose trust in joining future Kaggle’s Community competitions.\n\nOne more example, about two months ago, I entered another Community competition with a decent prize pool. Several Kagglers raised concerns about the host and the organization in the discussion forum, and the details indeed seemed suspicious. Just a few days later (about 3–5 days after it launched), the host deleted the competition altogether.\n\nI think Kaggle should consider stricter requirements for Community competition hosts, such as verifying their identity, confirming prize fund availability in advance, and enforcing clear payout deadlines to protect participants and maintain trust in the platform.\n\nBy the way, hi @inversion @addisonhoward \nI understand that Community competitions are `Competitions created by other Kagglers using our no-cost, self-service platform.` However, I’d like to ask if Kaggle could take any action regarding a Community competition prize that still hasn’t been paid.",
