But I don't quite understand how it'll work. <br>Is it &quot;4&quot; being &quot;the worst stage of DR&quot; and &quot;0&quot; being &quot;healthy eye&quot;?<br>If so, then what defines the worst stage of DR?<br>If not, how to assign these ratings?</p>",

      "content": "<p>On the labels/ratings see:</p>\n<p>http://www.kaggle.com/c/diabetic-retinopathy-detection/data</p>\n<p>0 - No DR<br>1 - Mild<br>2 - Moderate<br>3 - Severe<br>4 - Proliferative DR</p>\n<p>It is your task to find an algorithm which can detect features in images and use these features to predict the rating that was given by a professional clinician. You can view how a clinician diagnoses&nbsp;diabetic retinopathy here:</p>\n<p>http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diabetic_retinopathy#Diagnosis</p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.4\">leaking blood vessels,</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.4\">retinal swelling, such as macular edema,</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.4\">pale, fatty deposits on the retina (exudates) &#8211; signs of leaking blood vessels,</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.4\">damaged nerve tissue (neuropathy), and</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.4\">any changes in the blood vessels.</span></li>\n</ol>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.4\">Your task is to assign these ratings/labels automatically, not manually.
