I understand that they have to cap the number of instances so as to avoid excessive billing related issues but they didn't even put a cap on it, they just set it to zero. If AWS had set it to 1 for every instance per region by default, I wouldn't have to raise any kind of request.</p>",

If the AWS account you provided to us is suspended, the credit may not be useable. \n2. You can view your updated credit usage in the Bills section on your Dashboard.\n3. Please set up billing alerts to help monitor your AWS charges.\n4. If possible, we recommend EC2 Spot Instances to save costs.</p>",

I understand that they have to cap the number of instances so as to avoid excessive billing related issues but they didn't even put a cap on it, they just set it to zero. And we improved our LB score, so we are eligible for the 2nd trench. Assuming that 2nd trench will be another $500/team, will that be cumulative with what we didn't spend from the 1st trench? Will we have $500 from 2nd trench + $200 which we didn't use from the 1st trench = $700? Or we lose what we didn't spend from the 1st trench? (i.e. we should strive to spend ALL $500 until 1/30/2020)?\nThanks!\nPS: EC2 infrastructure is really amazing to train large CNN models, thanks for supporting the competition :) it's really impressive how easy it is to spin up multiple GPUs, disks, etc.. </p>",
