  "content": "<p><a href=\"https://www.kaggle.com/danniellemccarthy\" target=\"_blank\">@danniellemccarthy</a> had the great idea of pointing out that some of ya'll might be interested in a related competition that some of wonderful folks over at HHMI Janelia just launched.</p>\n<p>You can find more information here: <a href=\"https://www.janelia.org/news/the-competition-is-on-janelia-challenge-seeks-to-create-new-ai-tools-to-segment-cellular\" target=\"_blank\">https://www.janelia.org/news/the-competition-is-on-janelia-challenge-seeks-to-create-new-ai-tools-to-segment-cellular</a></p>\n<p>The gist is: <br>\nIn this competition you worked on cryo-electron tomography data and finding structures like proteins. In the Janelia CellMap competition the data is also electron microscopy, but not tomography. The scale of the biology is a little larger, and involves segmenting organelles inside the cell. Together, these give a great sense of the complexity of biological cells and how we understand different scales of biology through imaging. </p>\n<p>Even if you aren't interested in competing, check it out just to see their data!</p>",
