  "content": "<p>Dear Phase 2 Participants,</p>\n<p>Thank you for participating in the Physically Informed 3D Food Reconstruction challenge hosted by the CVPR MetaFood Workshop. We deeply appreciate everyone’s efforts in shaping our challenge. As this was our first workshop challenge, we encountered several organizational issues, and we are grateful for your patience and cooperation in making the challenges better. We hope you enjoyed the journey.</p>\n<p>We are excited to announce the winners based on the stated rules:</p>\n<p><strong>First place: VolETA</strong><br>\n<strong>Second place: ININ-VIAUN</strong><br>\n<strong>Third place: VCE</strong></p>\n<p>Our challenge aimed to <strong>advance the food vision community by focusing on 3D food analysis, specifically nutrition intake monitoring through volume estimation</strong>. We also value the efforts of teams that excelled in mesh reconstruction. Therefore, in addition to the winners of the combined tasks, we have added a special prize of $100 for \"Best Food Mesh Reconstructions.\" This award goes to:</p>\n<p><strong>Best Food Mesh Reconstructions: FoodRiddle</strong></p>\n<p>Congratulations to all the winners!</p>\n<p>Moving forward, we would like to collect your technical reports and code URLs to compile them into one document to host on our website. Note that your cash prize and certificate will not be awarded nor posted on the website if we do not receive your technical reports.</p>\n<p>For the technical reports, please provide details on your methodology and experimental setup. For code submission, create a GitHub repository and include the URL in the report. Use the CVPR2024 paper template for your report. </p>\n<p>Finally, we would like to invite all 4 remaining Phase 2 teams to the challenge winner announcement and to present their solutions at the MetaFood workshop on June 17th.
