"content": "
Hello kagglers,
\nI just want to ask if while submitting with their private dataset is there any notebook run time limit or not. At code requirements is just for pressing submit button notebook run time must be less then 9 hours but then when it's coming throught their private dataset it can take longer. Is there any time limit or once we successfully submit the notebook then time doesn't matter?
",

      "content": "
When you run the notebook with Save you have 9 hours. If your doing the predictions that part of the code will only take a second or so since only a single image will be predicted. You can see the time it took for this code to run in the execution info section. For a script that only does predictions this time should only be a few minutes.
\n
When you come back and Submit - the prediction is on 15,000 images. The 9 hour limit also applies - if over 9 you will get a timeout error. You need to do a paper and pencil record to find how long the time of this run was - I have yet to find a report out of the run time for the final private test set. Of course, if more than 9 hours you will get a nice glaring error.
\n
The time to run the 15K predictions is not part of your quota - so turn on GPU accelerator.
",
