  "content": "<p>It looks like external data is allowed for this competition, so I am creating this thread for posting a few questions I have in my mind regarding to that and perhaps other competitors who would like to add their owns or answer these.</p>\n<ul>\n<li><p>If we are using an external dataset we need to post it here in the forums as far as I know, is this the correct assumption?</p></li>\n<li><p>Are there any license requirements for the external dataset being used? E.g. does it have to be public license.</p></li>\n</ul>",

      "content": "<p>I think Kaggle has moved away from the requirement to post external data. The rules state:</p>\n<p>C. External Data. You may use data other than the Competition Data (“External Data”) to develop and test your Submissions. However, you will ensure the External Data is publicly available to use by all participants of the Competition for purposes of the competition at no cost to the other participants. The ability to use External Data under this Section 7.C (External Data) does not limit you other obligations under these Competition Rules, including but not limited to Section 11 (Winners Obligations).</p>\n<p>So, it must be available, but I don't see anything that says you need to post it.</p>",
