      "content": "<p>I am experiencing some bugs with kaggle notebooks that is making it very difficult to operate:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>when creating new code or markdown cells, they will be created multiple cells away not directly under the cell from which I've created</li>\n<li>when moving cells they will be moved multiple cells away from the expected location</li>\n<li>the UI will jump around when scrolling or creating new cells</li>\n<li>when running multiple cells via shift+enter, the page does not move as new cells are ran</li>\n</ul>\n<p>I did not have these bugs prior to a kaggle update that I believe came out around late Jan. These issues are making the kaggle notebooks very frustrating to use.</p>",

However, when submitting it it will not work, specifically i mean the ultralytics package. Anyone has a smart way how to solve this? Or do i have to download the whl files and upload them as well. Very much confused, and any help very much appreciated!  </p>",

I think, since ultralytics isn't a pre-installed Kaggle package + internet off during submission, you’ll need to download the .whl or .tar.gz file for it (and dependencies), then upload them to your notebook. <br>\nEasiest way:<br>\npip download ultralytics, zip them, upload to Kaggle, and !pip install from that folder.</p>",

      "content": "<p>Hi Edith <br>\nSubmissions time out normally because they are either in the incorrect format or the notebook raised some exception. I would go in the output and dig in the logs to see what happened. <br>\nRun one epoch first to ensure that works. <br>\nHope this helps. </p>",

When a round takes so long, it means that the technique is either not optimized for Kaggle notebooks, or there is something overly complicated. </p>\n<p>Let's put it this way - From other code submissions of other developers, I see them finish 1 epoch in 15 -20 min. When mine was taking long like yours, I had to see what the others are doing and borrow their technique.. </p>\n<p>If 1 round takes 12 hours, its already a problem because the limit for the competition cannot exceed 12 hours (In total) </p>",

When a round takes so long, it means that the technique is either not optimized for Kaggle notebooks, or there is something overly complicated. \n\nLet's put it this way - From other code submissions of other developers, I see them finish 1 epoch in 15 -20 min. When mine was taking long like yours, I had to see what the others are doing and borrow their technique.. \n\nIf 1 round takes 12 hours, its already a problem because the limit for the competition cannot exceed 12 hours (In total)",
