I'm facing the following error while using TPU.</p>\n<p><code>GCS_DS_PATH = KaggleDatasets().get_gcs_path('bms-molecular-translation')\nGCS_DS_PATH</code></p>\n<p><code>ConnectionError: Connection error trying to communicate with service.</code></p>\n<p>Do suggest some hacks for using TPU in this competition.</p>\n<p>~Thanks…………….</p>",

      "content": "<p><code>prefix = KaggleDatasets().get_gcs_path('bms-molecular-translation')</code><br>\nYesterday, this line didn't raise any errors and worked perfectly. However, today, similar to above, I also encountered this error. The main error is that doing the said line leads to a <code>HTTP Error</code> or <code>Connection Timeout</code> for some unknown reasons. I tried many suggested fixes, but nothing worked. I tried:</p>\n<ol>\n<li>Turning Kernel Internet off/on</li>\n<li>Creating new notebook, importing bms-molecular-translation dataset, perform get_gcs_path</li>\n<li>Turning kernel to public</li>\n<li>Removing all other datasets other than bms-molecular-translation</li>\n</ol>\n<p>I became curious if it only affects this Competition so I tried applying it to both <a href=\"https://www.kaggle.com/c/flower-classification-with-tpus\" target=\"_blank\">Flower Classification with TPUs</a> and <a href=\"https://www.kaggle.com/c/digit-recognizer\" target=\"_blank\">Digit Recognizer</a> but both returned their paths without problems.</p>\n<p>Here is the <a href=\"https://www.kaggle.com/seraphwedd18/tpu-get-gcs-path-check\" target=\"_blank\">Notebook</a> where I tried to run the said code together with traceback error.</p>\n<p>Any further useful help would be appreciated.</p>\n<p>Edit:<br>\nError went away after a day.
