  "content": "<p>Since team merging is a non-reversisble process, i have to be careful. I want to confiirm the following is correct:</p>\n<p><a href=\"https://www.kaggle.com/competitions/blood-vessel-segmentation/rules:\" target=\"_blank\">https://www.kaggle.com/competitions/blood-vessel-segmentation/rules:</a></p>\n<p>Team Mergers<br>\nTeam mergers are allowed and can be performed by the team leader. In order to merge, the combined team must have a total submission count less than or equal to the maximum allowed as of the Team Merger Deadline. The maximum allowed is the number of submissions per day (i.e. 5) multiplied by the number of days the competition has been running.</p>\n<hr>\n<p><br>\n</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>now this competition is spanned over 3 months (90 days).<br>\nHence total no. of submission is (90-7)*5 =420.</p>\n<p>say at the point of merging, we have 20 days left and the merged number of submission is 410. so we only have remanining 10 submission slots ?and how is it disributed? is it still maximum 5 per day until exhaused?</p>\n<hr>\n<p>i am wondering is there is mistake in the rule description page.<br>\nit says: \" the combined team must have a total submission count less than or equal to the maximum allowed as of the Team Merger Deadline. \"<br>\ni think it should have been:<br>\n\" the combined team must have a total submission count less than or equal to the maximum allowed as at the merger date \"</p>\n<hr>\n<p>Thanks for answering</p>",

      "content": "<p>It looks like, this was also the way it was interpreted in the link. <br>\nThat makes also more sense, so a team does not have to make any calculations on how to distribute the submissions (as discussed in your original post) once they abide by the rule while forming the team. </p>",
