      "content": "<p>To be honest, we never actually tried…<br>\nBut I doubt that BirdNET would outperform the top submissions given the restrictions of the competition. That's why we initiated this challenge in the first place. We still struggle with soundscape recordings and looking at some of the submitted attempts might help us to advance. <br>\nWe might try to submit as a post-deadline submission, but we will most likely use a model that was trained on many more species, just to see where we stand right now.</p>",
