It's the little things in life, for 6 months I have been frustrated at trying to use the version compare on the save version dialog (never works for me). I assumed I didn't know what to do, so I just gave up trying to figure it out.

Happy Day, while accidentally starting a long commit save when trying to save an fork a version, I came across what I had been missing, how to do a version compare on your versions. I know you all have known this for years, but it has evaded me.

IN case anyone else is in my boat also, the version compare can be found in the [… ](pull down) button on the view of your current versions. Where you select a version and choose [Go to Viewer]. Choose -> [Compare Version] on pull down list. You next choose the Versions to compare (select two of your versions)

It's a great feature. It's a pity that you can't use it on other user's notebook (to compare revisions of some public notebook).

You can, if I understand your point. Click on where it says \"Version 3 of 3\" or whatever and then the Select Diff button.
