"content": "
Hi all,
\n\n
I've managed to make a submission that scores a perfect 0 on the public LB. This submission just assigned a random bird to each row_id in the test.csv so I did not expect it to score completely 0. Is this expected with a random submission? If so, can I assume that my formatting for the submission file was correct? The \"My Submissions\" tab tells me that the running succeeded.
\n\n
Furthermore, the submission took 2 hours to be evaluated by Kaggle. I added a line in my submission to read in each window of the test audios even though I didn't use them, as this submission succeeded and took so long, is it a fair assumption that I was successful in reading in each test audio file?
\n\n
There is some confusion in the discussion pages over how exactly we read in test audios and make submissions, I am just wondering now if it sounds as though I've done this successfully?
\n\n
--EDIT--\nI will leave my notebook link here:\nhttps://www.kaggle.com/cwthompson/birdsong-making-a-prediction\nSince it's been confirmed that the submission was made correctly, and this post has had a couple upvotes a while after I made it.
",
