In the next comp after that there was some 4k users it was LLM Detect AI Generated text competition , I had a solution which could have ranked 40th out of 4k users and land me in silver zone but I ended up not selecting that submission and not gaining medal . I faced one more shakeup in another competition and the competition after that I got my bronze and became competition expert . Recently I have faced shakeups in 3-4 comps including this one .<br>\nBut in this comp I got to learn about the audio data and deep learning models and ensembling and optimization.<br>\nI also felt bad when the leaderboard was announced and I realized fell from 70+ places to 599 places , but after a good nap I am able to get back things in perspective .</p>",

"3218398": "This makes sense as the public LB is also a component of the test set - why not evaluate the model on the entire test set including public + private LB and then rank? This will be fair to all - and may, to an extent, reduce the shakeup also @ahsuna123 @sayedathar11 \n\nAlso, one may try out flash competitions also. 3-months seems to be too long and unnecessary for a lot of competitions. One may design a different set of competition tiers that could offer medals with 2-3 weeks of effort, perhaps named as **sprints** - this could reduce time invested and focus on directed efforts rather than a full-blown 3-month exercise followed by such events!",

"3218521": "It's not uncommon to see shakeups — I'm sure they both must have had more stable models that could generalize well on unseen datasets. Also, if you look at @tomohiroh profile. ToMo has consistently performed well and grabbed medals (specifically past BirdClef competitions) - as I said in the post as well, learnings - they count! I am sure they've applied the prior learnings in this competition. Big congratulations to them! :))🥳"
