While reading the top solutions for BirdCLEF2023, I noticed that several participants used BirdNET-Analyzer. However, upon checking the license for BirdNET-Analyzer, I found it to be CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. According to the competition rules under \"8. SUBMISSION CODE REQUIREMENTS\" → \"C. Use of Open Source\", it seems that the use of open-source software with a non-commercial license is prohibited. Could you please clarify if this means that using BirdNET-Analyzer is indeed not permitted?</p>\n<p>Thank you for your help and for organizing this amazing competition!</p>",

However, be aware that BirdNET does not cover all species in this competition and you may have to be a little creative to actually take advantage of our pre-trained model.</p>",
