I am referring to the Mountain Imperial-Pigeon (moipig1). Judging by the map on xeno-canto and the description on the Wikipedia page for this bird, it is mainly present in Southeast Asia and Indonesia, but only in the extreme north-east of India, not in the Western Ghats.
\n
Again, based on Wikipedia, a different species should have been included instead: the Malabar Imperial Pigeon. It is endemic to the Western Ghats (the XC map proves it) and \"was formerly considered conspecific [with the Mountain imperial pigeon], but was split as a distinct species by the IOC in 2021.\"
\n
Without getting too pedantic about it, would you consider making a change to the dataset, either by: 1- replacing the Mountain imperial pigeon with the Malabar imperial pigeon; 2- removing the Mountain imperial pigeon altogether?
",

That's a great point!
\n
I have to add that this change happened very recently, and the species name change has yet to take effect across datasets, taxonomies, and usage in Western Ghats or other places.
