  "content": "<h1>Time to Acknowledge Bird Sound Recordists</h1>\n<p>Many times we read topics, solutions, our codes and those three Editions (2021-2023) of BirdCLEF competitions. In summary, anything that is only possible to deliver, applying their useful work.</p>\n<p>Some records are used to develop various birding apps such as birds of Africa and world birds sounds plus hundreds of research works.</p>\n<p>Therefore, it's time to acknowledge those professionals.  On the Dataset, they can be found on the \"author\"  column of the Meta csv file.</p>\n<h1>Some lines about Isaac Kilusu (the longest bar on the barplot) :</h1>\n<p>\"He is an avid birder, bird sound recordist, bird mapper and researcher. He has been recording bird sounds for the last 7 years and leading birding tours in Kenya and Tanzania.\"</p>\n<p>\"He also train local bird guides,one of east african top sound recorder and africa as a whole. Some of his birds sounds have been used to develop various birding apps such as birds of Africa and world birds sounds plus hundreds of research works. All want to grow fast without much effort or merit. </p>\n<p>Where are they going without the required background? None of my business.</p>\n<p>In any career , we MUST show appreciation for those that contributed to our learning path. Since that experience, never stops,<br>\nproviding credits for all that have colaborated is one of the Top good practices. </p>\n<p>Even on our private lives, family and friends.  Never take anyone or positions for granted. They may not be here tomorrow .</p>\n<p>But the Knowledge you received by them will.  Except in dementia/Alzheimer conditions. Though that's not for BirdCLEF.</p>",
