I have dedicated my work to the automated detection of bird sounds in continuous audio data and would be more than happy to assist and guide you with any questions you may have during this challenge. In my main job, I work on <a href=\"https://ai.googleblog.com/2021/02/lyra-new-very-low-bitrate-codec-for.html\" target=\"_blank\">low-bitrate speech coding</a>.</p>\n<p>I'll also be around this time to answer the occasional question; good luck, all!</p>",

      "content": "<p>I spent some time on the BirdNET website last night; great stuff! I found <a href=\"https://youtu.be/MQHunTLt1TI\" target=\"_blank\">the Cornell lab’s interview with Stefan on YouTube</a> to be very interesting and informative, and I’d recommend it to others. </p>\n<p>And I love the live feed from Cornell Lab. I tuned in for a few minutes last night to see multiple Canada Goose detections, backed by a loud and steady chorus of spring peepers (frogs). (Of course, now I’m having listening-station monitoring envy, and I’m dreaming about having microphones around our property.) </p>\n<p>It still remains to be seen how far I’ll personally get on the machine learning front, but my mind is whirring with ideas and applications for these models as the state-of-the-art continues to improve. It's exciting to have an opportunity to take part in this. </p>",
