"content": "
Hi everybody,
\n
My team-mate Daniel and I have been playing around a little with this competition. We wanted to make our preliminary work available, so here's some code.
\n
The code is written in Python and consists in two files.
\n
\n
'plot.py' plots curves and spectrogram with matplotlib. It picks up data from the .mat files. To run this, just enter 'python plot.py path_to_data path_to_tagging_info'. For example:
\n
\n

'python plot.py H3/Tagged_Training_07_30_1343631601.mat H3/AllTaggingInfo.mat'.

\n
\n
'labels.py' is the result of a hand-labeling exercise of the interpreted on/off of the appliances for H2, H3, H4. If you want to use this, just uncomment the related code on 'plot.py' and add 'manual_tagdata_pos' as an argument to the 'plot' function. Please note that the labels' work still need checking and integrations, but it can be a good base if you want to pursue the hand-labeling way.
\n
\n
Happy plotting and good luck!
\n
Jacopo
",
