Please do post the alternate link. I am located in India and unable to down data at a decent speed.  The Issues it seems may be related to the server its hosted on cos other sites and downloads I am able to get a decent speed.

I'm unable to download h1 mat file as well.. and Im from India too.. Can we have a torrent of the data, not only do we not have to start from the beginning if the download fails.. but the maximum speed I'm getting is 300kbps, even though my connection is\r\n around 40Mbps in speedtest.net.and my download cap wont be wasted if the down load fails..

    We don't have support for torrents at this time.  Why not?

  • We need to be able to control the data source. We often have to re-release modified datasets and don't want outdated torrents polluting the web and confusing people\r\n
  • We enforce that you accept the rules before downloading. With torrents this is more difficult.\r\n
  • We'd rather support a fast, direct, CDN-based download\r\n

    You should be able to resume downloads for up to 2 days after starting them, regardless of browser.  If that's not working in IE10 please email support@kaggle.com and let them know.

    I have a very high speed internet in my lab and have downloaded all other files quickly.

    The problem is only with H1. Most of the attempts failed  to even start the download. Once it failed

    after 700 MB. Now I face the same problem with the csv files also. Though I was able to download

    them initially. The problem is at the source!

    I think a pretty cool feature would be to integrate with the Dropbox API. Just link your Kaggle account to your Dropbox, and then whenever you agree to the conditions for a competition, it drops the datafiles in a folder for you.

    As I am told these files are hosted on a fast cloud based system that has geographical redundancy, so it really should have worked. I will see if I can host it on an alternate server, however it is unlikely due to the restrictions Will mentioned above. Give\r\n me 24 hours and I will see what can be done.

    I uploaded H1copy.zip to see if the original H1.zip is on a flaky server, or has some strange location-dependent issues. Many people have successfully downloaded it, so I don't think it's a corrupt file.  It should have 2,526,178,724 bytes.
