"content": "<p>Hey Kagglers,</p>\n\n<p>This competition has closed! We hope you were able to learn a lot, and use your machine learning skills to help the scientific community. We had 60,711 submissions from 2944 teams (3523 competitors) from 94 countries! </p>\n\n<p>The APTOS 2019 Symposium will be held in Chennai, India September 21st and 22nd. If you are interested in attending the APTOS Symposium to share your work then please express your interest via <a href=\"https://forms.gle/KZf4WXRcHNHn8GrA6\">this survey</a> and we will notify you if we can provide a free pass. </p>\n\n<p>At the <a href=\"http://2019.asiateleophth.org/\">4th APTOS Symposium</a>, experts will share how emerging, innovative digital technologies are used in different parts of the world to enhance ophthalmic care. The theme of this year’s meeting will be the evolution, validation, and sustainability of AI. We will see how far AI has evolved from the inaugural APTOS Symposium in 2016 and look at what it is next in this exciting field. A goal of this competition is to capture algorithms across the world and train new data scientists. </p>\n\n<p>We also would like to give special thanks to Dr.'s Kim and Karthik from Aravind Eye Center in India for allowing us to run this competition. They've been a pleasure to work with, and we hope to work with them again in the future.</p>\n\n<p>We always love being able to host competitions that further the scientific community, and we've already heard from the competition sponsor that that the solutions were very advanced and interesting. Based on what we've seen in the leaderboard so far, it certainly makes for an interesting answer to the question \"Will this be won by a quantum chemistry specialist?\" </p>\n\n<p>Thank you all for your hard work in this competition and congratulations to our winners and to those who gained a new ranking! And a continued congratulation to the many of you may reach a new tier because of this competition, as well as far more of you for which this was your first competitions.</p>\n\n<p>We're also continually pleased to see how Kaggle Competitions serve as a great medium and vehicle through which the greater data science community can learn and develop their machine learning abilities and skills. Beginners and experts can come together to start, grow, and succeed. Further, in this competition, many can use their machine learning skills to help a great cause like this one.</p>\n\n<p>We've cleaned the leaderboard and disqualified some teams that have violated the rules. If you think you were removed by mistake, or believe you have evidence that suggests another team cheated, please contact <a href=\"https://www.kaggle.com/compliance\">compliance</a>. Please fill in all the fields honestly.</p>\n\n<p>The top potential winning teams will be contacted via email shortly to provide their winning solutions for sponsor review. Should we need to move down the leaderboard for any reason, we will do so and continue to make contact with subsequent teams.</p>\n\n<p>You should see your points and medals awarded soon, however it may take a few hours to propagate through.</p>\n\n<p>In the meantime, I've created this thread to be a curated list of your work. As you post your solutions, top kernels, and general discussion posts, I'll update this thread to keep track. If you write a paper, thesis, or present at a conference, and would like to share your work - please let us know so we can share with the Kaggle community! Additionally, if you performed any data manipulation, or maybe used a new technique in this competition that you'd like to share to further the industry, please let us know and we'll post it here! That way, should you be looking for takeaways in the future, or if you've just now stumbled across the competition, you have a place to see what surfaced from the work performed.</p>\n\n<p>Happy Modeling!\nKaggle Team</p>\n\n<p>Top Solutions\n- <a href=\"https://www.kaggle.com/c/aptos2019-blindness-detection/discussion/108065#latest-624210\">1st Place Solution</a>\n- <a href=\"https://www.kaggle.com/c/aptos2019-blindness-detection/discussion/107926#latest-624220\">2nd Place Solution</a>\n- <a href=\"https://www.kaggle.com/c/aptos2019-blindness-detection/discussion/107987#latest-627520\">4th Place Solution</a></p>",

"624242": "Hey Kagglers,\n\nThis competition has closed! We hope you were able to learn a lot, and use your machine learning skills to help the scientific community. We had 60,711 submissions from 2944 teams (3523 competitors) from 94 countries! \n\nThe APTOS 2019 Symposium will be held in Chennai, India September 21st and 22nd. If you are interested in attending the APTOS Symposium to share your work then please express your interest via [this survey](https://forms.gle/KZf4WXRcHNHn8GrA6) and we will notify you if we can provide a free pass. \n\nAt the [4th APTOS Symposium](http://2019.asiateleophth.org/), experts will share how emerging, innovative digital technologies are used in different parts of the world to enhance ophthalmic care. \n\nWe also would like to give special thanks to Dr.'s Kim and Karthik from Aravind Eye Center in India for allowing us to run this competition. They've been a pleasure to work with, and we hope to work with them again in the future.\n\nWe always love being able to host competitions that further the scientific community, and we've already heard from the competition sponsor that that the solutions were very advanced and interesting. Based on what we've seen in the leaderboard so far, it certainly makes for an interesting answer to the question \"Will this be won by a quantum chemistry specialist?\" \n\nThank you all for your hard work in this competition and congratulations to our winners and to those who gained a new ranking! And a continued congratulation to the many of you may reach a new tier because of this competition, as well as far more of you for which this was your first competitions.\n\nWe're also continually pleased to see how Kaggle Competitions serve as a great medium and vehicle through which the greater data science community can learn and develop their machine learning abilities and skills. Beginners and experts can come together to start, grow, and succeed. Further, in this competition, many can use their machine learning skills to help a great cause like this one.\n\nWe've cleaned the leaderboard and disqualified some teams that have violated the rules. If you think you were removed by mistake, or believe you have evidence that suggests another team cheated, please contact [compliance](https://www.kaggle.com/compliance). Please fill in all the fields honestly.\n\nThe top potential winning teams will be contacted via email shortly to provide their winning solutions for sponsor review. Should we need to move down the leaderboard for any reason, we will do so and continue to make contact with subsequent teams.\n\nYou should see your points and medals awarded soon, however it may take a few hours to propagate through.\n\nIn the meantime, I've created this thread to be a curated list of your work. That way, should you be looking for takeaways in the future, or if you've just now stumbled across the competition, you have a place to see what surfaced from the work performed.\n\nHappy Modeling!\nKaggle Team\n\nTop Solutions\n- [1st Place Solution](https://www.kaggle.com/c/aptos2019-blindness-detection/discussion/108065#latest-624210)\n- [2nd Place Solution](https://www.kaggle.com/c/aptos2019-blindness-detection/discussion/107926#latest-624220)\n- [4th Place Solution](https://www.kaggle.com/c/aptos2019-blindness-detection/discussion/107987#latest-627520)",
