This competition has been riddled with many problems. I list some of them here:

  2. The GPU limits were significantly decreased, disrupting the workflow of many participants

  3. Even now, there is currently a problem with kernels. In particular, kernels are not committing properly.

I only think it is fair that the competition deadline be extended. I think a one week extension would be fair.

Multiple reasons: (1) It is unfair against people who have spent a lot of time on it already, (2) this competition is getting really boring, (3) other competitions going on, (4) I wanna play world of warcraft, (5) life.

I would say no too. All issues affect everyone equally, so it's still fair. But my 'no' opinion is personal, this competition consumes a lot of my time and energy, and I would love to do something else after this one [world of warcraft is not a bad choice] ;)

@tanlikesmath They are relevant. There is a deadline. People make commitments to meet this deadline. If you didn't manage it that way then that's your problem. Deadline extensions imho should only take place if there are issues 1-2 days before deadline. Otherwise you have plenty of time to adapt.

@ratthachat It is not affecting everyone equally, because some people have access to GPU. I agree with every reason pointed out by @tanlikesmath \nI don't want to be competing in this challenge for ever either, but at least some days or one more week to compensate the several problems commiting and sunmitting we have had.
