I think kaggle is doing the right thing, but if the feedback contains more infomation (for example: wheather private sharing or using multiple accounts), I could have found out earlier. Someone around me breaks the rules and I decide to give hime a second chance. As @kyakovlev said, I do mind my reputation and finally I can sleep well tonight. "1918908": "I joined kaggle 6 years ago and spent a lot of time on various competitions. This is the first time that I was removed from the leaderboard. I did make an appeal and got feedback as following :\n\"We have completed our review and have determined that a member of your team violated competition rules through private sharing or using multiple accounts. We will not be reinstating your team.\"\nI don't know which account is my 'multiple account' or which team 'share' my submission. Don't even know who to blame. \nAfter all these disappointments, I think maybe it's time to say goodbye.\nLife is not just kaggle. The happiest thing here is that I have made many friends and learnt a lot from others.\n\nupdate: everything is fine for me now. I decide to forgive the one who make mistakes and give him a second chance to be honest in the future.",
"1920108": "It is possible that you didn't intend to cheat, but still have done something against the rules. Maybe someone who shares a computer with you has accessed a different account, and Kaggle admins interpreted that the same person accessing multiple accounts. There is no way that you didn't do anything wrong and they simply canned you.\n\nI have no problem that they don't disclose their methodology, because the moment they do it someone will share that reason. That will help future offenders avoid detection, so of course they don't want to provide details.\n\nIt is not difficult, however, to guess how they detect offenders. If multiple accounts are accessed from the same IP address, or if multiple accounts have similar submission names, similar submission times, it is likely that they belong to the same person.\n\nAs someone who often has to adjudicate performance on exams and quizzes, I know there can't be a different set of rules for some participants vs the others. You have been super-successful on Kaggle which is a clear sign that you don't need to cheat, but that doesn't automatically mean you didn't do anything wrong. If they made exceptions for GMs but not for novices, that wouldn't be right either.\n\nIt is only normal to be disappointed when you feel wronged, but I hope you reconsider and come back to Kaggle. Human errors are part of life.",
"1919327": "@qiaoshiji I feel bad for you.\n\nOf course cheaters should be removed from competition but I assume that GM tittle means at least something. Person with GM at least knows all procedures and will not risk his reputation and knows that any cheating will lead to consequences. \n\nThere should be no special flow or special treatment for experienced kagglers but I would expect at least more detailed answer from Kaggle team - user and especially user in \"gold zone\" should be able to defend himself and proof that he/she didn't cheat.\n\nWas a nice ride.
