Looking at the public LB, there are about 1,539 participants with a score of 0.799. About 40 of them are ranked for a silver medal while approximately 231 of them for a bronze medal. The rest, while having the same score, appear to receive no medals.
\n
\n
How is the ranking decided for these same score candidates (and possibly how do you rank higher)?
\n
Will the other candidates with the same score also receive medals?
\n
\n
Things that come to mind are:
\n
\n
It is based on figures after the 3rd digit (if this is the case, how would it be resolved?).
\n
It is based on the number of entries or submission datetime (does not seem to be the case from my observations).
\n
\n
Appreciative to clarifications.
",
