  "content": "<p>In a typical Kaggle competition there is an indicator of how many teams are involved.</p>\n\n<p><img src=\"https://i.imgur.com/SAhk1MX.png\" alt=\"team count\"></p>\n\n<p>I understand that analytics competitions are different, but is there a way for us to know how many other teams there are? The Kernels and Discussion board for this competition have been pretty quiet - and I'm assuming most people are just waiting until the deadline to reveal their analysis- but still it would be nice to know how many other teams are out there.</p>",

I didn't want to leave you empty handed though, so I went ahead and crunched some numbers. According to my calculations, the number of teams is somewhere between 1 and 3000 (give or take)</p>",

          "content": "<p>I pulled some stats from the meta kaggle dataset which is not fully updated yet with this comp.\nI had to scrape some kernel urls and found 139 teams with public nfl kernels.</p>\n\n<p>Indeed it is somewhere between 1 and 3000 :D</p>",
