  "content": "<p>So I finally went out and bought a kinect! Woot!</p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p>I have version 10.10 on ubuntu but I think there is a problem with the usb connection. I have tried all the usb ports on my machine. The light on the kinect is blinking.</p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p>Error message says 0 devices connected when i run glview from the bin directory. This is a restriction imposed to Microsoft to win the prizes.</p>\r\n<p>For the quantitative evaluation on pre-recorded data, you can work under another OS, but if you are one of the winners and are interested in licensing your technology the Microsoft, again the OS may be a problem because your code will have to work under\r\n Windows.</p>",
