  "content": "<p>Has any one tried installing <a href=\"https://github.com/strawlab/python-pcl\">python-pcl</a> inside a kaggle kernel.</p>\n\n<p>I did below\n````\n!apt-get install libpcl-dev -y</p>\n\n<p>!pip install python-pcl</p>\n\n<p>````</p>\n\n<p>But on <code>import pcl</code>, get an error</p>\n\n<p><code>ImportError: libpcl_keypoints.so.1.7: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory</code></p>\n\n<p>Per GitHub repo, dependencies are:\n*This release has been tested on Linux Ubuntu 16.04 with</p>\n\n<p>Python 2.7.6, 3.5.x\npcl 1.7.2(apt install)\nCython &lt;= 0.25.2\nThis release has been tested on Linux Ubuntu 18.04 with</p>\n\n<p>Python 2.7.6, 3.5.x\npcl 1.8.1(apt install)\nCython &lt;= 0.25.2*</p>\n\n<p>So there are obvious disconnects with the python and ppl versions. However, I was curious, if anyone has been able to get it working.</p>",
